Some of you may already know me from Substack, more specifically as Autumn Reid, the Mom of Substack! Hello to all my Substack friends! For those of you who don't know me, here's a brief introduction: I'm a Christian writer who is trying to make creating stories a little more accessible and possible to others in similar situations to myself.

My Inspiration

Indie Is Awesome was born from a very personal experience. While writing my own novel, I found myself searching for specific types of writing assistance that were hard to come by. I didn't want to pay huge prices for a beta read when I just needed help knowing what to do next, and the cost of a full manuscript read-through was definitely out of reach. This problem sparked the idea: what if there was a place that offered truly affordable, yet exceptional, beta reading and proofreading services tailored specifically for indie authors?
